Sandi Vito – Labor Secretary of the State of Pennsylvania
Under the various government positions of Sandi Vito, the most recent of which is the Pennsylvania Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry, the State was able to receive a number of state and nationwide awards and distinctions for an overall job well done. One of these awards is the Best Work force Publication in Target Industry Clusters, which was announced and awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor. Likewise is the state work wherein lifelong learning and post-secondary education geared for adults were developed, with 25 million dollars awarded by the Department of Labor.
Because of all the recognitions and awards that she received, Sandi Vito was also given the Work Force Development Leadership Award from the State Pennsylvania Partners. She is indeed instrumental in attracting millions of dollars that spurred the development of the state economy and its overall work force. With her achievements and work on the expansion of job opportunities while meeting with businesses and companies that the work force needs, she was awarded the Trailblazer Award for work force development efforts.
